Purpose & Background

The purpose of this project was to provide a workflow automation solution for the larger team, ease the costs of operations & reduce downtime.

Additional Details

This project was my first experience designing and developing a large-scale multi-component data pipeline using Azure. Lots of setup in Azure for VMs and worker machines to work with the corporate domains & assets. Development in C# for functions app to perform the workflow automation. Powershell scripting for automation scripts. SQL Server setups and scripting for data storage, logging, and analytics. PowerBI reports for analytics & Ops monitoring.

Results

Adoption of the system led to a reduction in downtime & costs of operations, and freed resources while improving reliability.
